A Detroit native, Brian moved to Philadelphia in 2006 and has since considered it home. Since conversion, he has desired to help establish a healthy church in an inner-city context which eventually led to his being a part of Risen Christ Fellowship. He has completed a church planting internship at Imago Dei Church in Raleigh, NC which he began at the conclusion of completing the pastoral internship at Capitol Hill Baptist Church in 2013. Brian is joyfully married to Sonia, and the Lord has given them two delightful sons; Spurgeon & Sibbes, and a lovely girl, Noelle.
“Giving thanks to the Father. . . who has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the Kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins,”– Let the redeemed of the Lord say so! “Darkness” is perhaps the most appropriate word to describe Frank’s life before God rescued him from wrath and freed him from his sins. A native of Troy, New York, God saved Frank within a year of his move to the greater-Philadelphia area in 1982. In 2000, Frank received an invitation to candidate for the pastorate from Faith Independent Baptist Church of Philadelphia, which later changed its name to Living Hope Church of Philly. Having a burden for inner-city ministry, and after seeking the Lord’s will, Living Hope Church united with Risen Christ Fellowship in April of this year for the progress of the Gospel in urban Philadelphia and beyond, to the praise of His glorious grace!
